She has backpacked through Europe, been an au pair in France, worked in New York, returned to France with her husband to be his translator while they lived in a small village an hour south of Paris, but now has settled in the glorious state of New Mexico which is fast becoming her favorite place to live.
Erin Krueger is a pre-published author who writes contemporary romance, new adult romance, and alt-world fantasy of manners romance. And, just for good measure, there may or may not be a little dabbling in poetry.
Her hometown is Jacksonville, Florida and she grew up writing -A LOT- much to her mother’s chagrin. It was especially fun when she’d make her mother read angsty short stories right after they’d had a disagreement in those formative teenage years.
But having suffered the heat in Florida throughout her childhood, she sought refuge in a cooler climate for college and attended the University of Connecticut, where she fell in love with Chemistry and also a rather attractive computer programmer who would later become her husband.
She was once a chemist, but now prefers baking, which is really just “science for hungry people.” And of course, there’s the daily maintenance of her writing muse, Mochi, the family German Shepherd mix who shares Erin’s love of French cheese.
